Sister-owned sandwich shop, Banh Mi & Ti, was one of my restaurant partners for Feed Your Hospital: Pittsburgh in Spring-Fall 2020. When I stopped by for lunch one day in early 2021, Kelly told me how they were struggling without doing online orders or having a website. A different company had pitched them a project that was too expensive, and Kelly asked my advice. I decided to do their website myself as a pro bono project!
We went with a simple and clean design to reflect their beautiful new menu, and linked their existing pay platform to empower online ordering. I helped feature their personal story and set up a contact form to streamline more catering opportunities. I incorporated social media and news highlights as well. Two years later, Kelly told me that the online ordering has helped save them through the dreary Pittsburgh winters and busy summers!
